In such claims, the driver of the insured vehicle or the other party will receive proof of compensation from the adjuster and proceed to any network garages for repair immediately with the claims documents.
- Basic steps to take when an accident occurred
- For your safety, please turn on the emergency lights immediately when an accident occurred.
- Proceed to call our accident response centre number at 1790 and press â1â to report the accident. We are available 24 Hours, nationwide.
- In the call, inform our staff of your policy number or vehicle registration number to verify your policy coverage. We encourage you to provide all information of the accident, such as the location of the accident or any other notable details. This will help speed up your claim process. If someone is injured or the vehicle is stalled at the scene of the accident, please inform our staff for immediate ambulance or forklift assistance.
- Our accident response centre will coordinate with the adjuster who is located nearest to the accident scene and provide you with help you as soon as possible. You will receive an SMS that includes the adjusterâs name, contact number, and claim number.
- The adjuster will then provide you with an online claim service at the scene through a modern system that is automatically connected to the companyâs Core System, so that you are able to proceed with repairs immediately.
- Bringing your vehicle for repairs:
- From the automatic online system, you have an option of more than 500 In-Network Garages nationwide to send your vehicle for repairs (Depending on the policy type and coverage). Present the list of damages document issued to you by the adjuster to the selected garage for the repair process to begin.
- The garage, service centre or spare parts shop will file a claim, and once the price of the repairs needed is agreed upon, the final bill will be submitted to the company via an automated online system.
You also have the choice of repairing your vehicle at a garage that is not listed in your insurance contract. For vehicle repairs at garages not included in the In-Network Garages, please refer to the below:
- 1st part: The Company will only approve repair cost quotation from garages not listed in the contract that is equivalent to the cost if repaired at any In-Network Garages. Should there be a difference in the repair costs, the differences will be bear by the Insured. For cases where spare parts are needed, the cost of spare parts submitted by the shop not listed in the insurance contract must be equal to the cost of similar spare parts sold by garages that are within the contract.
